Powder Incense (Sang)

Sang is different in shape then all other incenses. It is a powder, made from natural ingredients without the glue used in the production of incense sticks. Juniper or other traditional combinations of ground herbs are usually used in making sang. It is burnt in special ashtrays.

Sang efficiently purifies space from negative energies and creates the right atmosphere for meditation. Sang is also a perfect ingredient for offerings. Some special Buddhist rituals include the burning of sang and offerings and reading of purifying prayers.
